Estrategias básicas de comprensión de textos en Inglés
La materia de inglés 1, se enfoca principalmente a la utilización de diferentes estrategias de comprensión de textos en inglés dentro de las cuales podemos distinguir:
- Identificación de elementos gráficos
- Identificación de elementos tipográficos.
- Cognados, falsos cognados, palabras conocidas y palabras relevantes.
- Fechas, números, cantidades, Nombres Propios
- Idea principal e ideas secundarias.
- Partes de la oración
- Elementos del discurso

My name is Dennis and this is my family tree. My father's name is Steve. He's an architect and he lives in New York with my mother Mary. My mom is a very talented artist. She paints beautiful pictures. I have one brother named Albert. He is a computer engineer. Debra is my wife. She is a nurse at the same hospital where I work. I work in the lab. My daughter Donna is a doctor in San Francisco. Donna's husband's name is Keith. He is a restaurant manager. They have a little girl named Becky who is three years old.
John Winston Ono Lennon is one of the most famous musical artists ever. He shot to fame as one of The Beatles. His mother was Julia and his Father Fred. He married with Cynthia, then divorced and married with Yoko Ono . He had two children, Julian and Sean
He co-wrote most of the band’s songs, the majority of which are now rock classics. He also helped shape the social revolution of the 1960s.
Lennon was born in Liverpool in 1940. He was brought up by an aunt named Mimi , who bought him a harmonica and taught him how to play the banjo.He told his mother and aunt he would be a famous singer one day.
Lennon met Paul McCartney in 1957 at a church hall concert. They became friends and began writing songs together. They formed a band called The Beatles. They became popular playing live at local clubs in Liverpool and Germany. Then they became the most successful and influential act in music history. Lennon famously said The Beatles were more popular than Jesus.
Some of his most famous songs are Imagine, stand by me and don't let me down. On 8th December 1980, Lennon was shot and killed outside his New York apartment by a deranged fan.
